With our background in real estate and tourism we know which topics are most relevant to those interested in moving or investing overseas.
Our magazine is distributed in the main hubs in Scandinavia, mainly in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The Scandinavian population constitutes around 21 million people, a small but upbeat and ready-to-explore group. They are travellers, trend-setters and smart consumers, and while having a lot in common, each Scandinavian country each has its own distinct culture.
Sweden has a population of around ten million people, including a smaller Swedish-speaking population in the neighbouring country of Finland. Sweden is a country known for its beautiful forests, in fact, two-thirds of the country is covered by forest. The capital Stockholm in the northeastern part of the country is situated on several islands connected by bridges and known by fellow Scandinavians as a hotspot for fashion and trend-setters. Scandinavians are generally a practical type of people, which Swedish IKEA have set a clear example of. Fun fact: Before the internet took over, the Swedish people were among the highest newspaper consumers in the world. Just next to Sweden, you find Norway with a population of 5.3 million people. Norway is a country for outdoor adventurers and nature lovers. The country is basically a long mountain strip covering 2650 km of astonishing coastline. Basically, this makes Norwegians hard to impress when it comes to exploring nature elsewhere around the world. On the other hand, given its rank as the fourth most expensive country to live in the world (2018), it also makes Norwegians happy travellers while experiencing low cost for value almost anywhere they go. Fun fact: The Japanese did not use salmon in sushi until it was suggested by a Norwegian delegation in the 1980's.
The country Denmark is linked by a bridge to neighbouring Sweden. It's a country with only around six million people but covering a surprisingly large geographical area. Because the Kingdom of Denmark also includes the Faroe Islands and Greenland to the North, it's the twelfth largest nation in the world. Other Danish-speaking populations are found in Iceland and northern Germany. Denmark doesn't have any mountains, it is practically the ancient valley of neighbouring Norway and Sweden. In fact the highest point is just 172 m, which makes it perfect for bicycling. And they do it a lot! Fun fact: Denmark is home to the oldest amusement park in the world, Dyrehavsbakken, which saw the light of day in 1583.
